office The new western division corporate office is pretty sweet. Not that the Legato building was shabby, it was way better than most of our branch offices. But being RIGHT next to Mercado has its benefits. Yahoo is next door, and their sign is bigger and more visible from the highway :(

I guess they finally decided that the West Coast is important (all the software acquitions are in Silicon Valley) and are consolidating almost everyone into the SC office. We aren't scheduled to move in until October but I'm coming every so often to use the lab.

Now for the important things, the cubicles. I know I have no right to complain seeing as how I'm never at the office. But they got a few things right. Easy access to power outlets and network ports, located above the desks. Legato cubes had the cords steathed into the sides. The cubes are smaller than Legato and there's a window in all of them as well. So you can't hide easily but why go to the office and hide?  ¶ 1:33 PM
