dead pixel fixed! After bemoaning the discovery of a dead pixel on my Dell 24" LCD for weeks, I flicked at it out of frustation the other day. This was after prior attempts to clean it. I discovered that the pixel was elevated compared to the rest of the screen, and a 2nd flick got rid of it!

I probably scraped off a bit of the anti-glare coating, oh wells. At least I don't feel like I got a $850 lemon.  ¶ 7:45 PM
